`display` was initialised once and never updated, so the text box would show a stale German date after the parent reset `value` (e.g. × reset button or timeline drag). A guarded `$effect` re-derives `display` from `value` whenever the two are out of sync while preserving mid-typing partial dates (germanToIso returns '' for incomplete input, which matches value='' during typing → no spurious re-derive). Creating a project

Developing
Once you've created a project and installed dependencies with npm install (or pnpm install or yarn), start a development server:
npm run dev
# or start the server and open the app in a new browser tab
npm run dev -- --open
Building
To create a production version of your app:
npm run build
You can preview the production build with npm run preview.
To deploy your app, you may need to install an adapter for your target environment.
